Im using the Blackstrap balaclava--I like it ok on cold days--but when its snowing--its wet and frozen by the 2nd run. Boots, goggles, helmet, toiletries, ski clothing for first day of skiing (gloves, balaclava, outerwear shells, long underwear, midlayers, underwear, etc), headphones, chargers and a book. At that time, I disregarded them because they weren't rock 'n roll enough, my tastes were migrating to the Led Zep, Black Sabbath sort of thing. You are far more likely to get cold on a windy day from goggle gap and an ill-fitting helmet matched with the wrong goggles. Do any of the face coverings--balaclava or gaiter work any better?
